lululemon athletica, Urban Chic, lucy activewear Coming to
Annapolis Towne Centre
Multinational Retailer of Technology and Entertainment Products and Services to Join Premiere Lifestyle Centre in Summer 2009
Owings Mills, Md. (September 25, 2008) — Three retailers — carrying the latest designs in athletic wear, women’s apparel and accessories — will join the collection of more than 40 shops, boutiques and restaurants coming to the $500 million Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole, which opens on October 12. The new retailers are:
- lululemon athletica, a provider of technically advanced, yoga-inspired garments, designed by athletes for athletes in the U.S. and Canada. The 2,789-square-foot space will showcase stylish apparel, made to accommodate a wide range of athletic pursuits.
- Urban Chic, offering the latest ready-to-wear discoveries from emerging designers and established brands, such as Alice and Olivia, Citizens of Humanity and Nannette Lepore. The 2,023-square-foot store will be the fourth location for the D.C.-based company.
- lucy activewear, a 2,037-square-foot showroom selling women’s activewear. Based in Portland, Oregon, this national chain will offer clothing in endless variations of fits, fabrics and styles, designed to inspire women to lead active, healthy lives.
“These retailers are a great mix of national and boutique stores that are new to the Annapolis area,” said Brian Gibbons, president and CEO of Greenberg Gibbons. “Each brings a fun and unique fashion-offering to the Annapolis Towne Centre.”
The stores will join a premium mix of retailers, restaurants and entertainment at Annapolis Towne Centre. Anchored by a 170,000-square-foot Target and one of the largest Whole Foods Market in the country, the town center will include stores such as Talbots, Anthropologie and Smyth Jewelers, as well as a diverse mix of restaurants, including Gordon Biersch, Real Seafood, Chop House, PF Chang’s, Brio, Daily Grill and Silver Diner. The open-air, lifestyle center will also feature first-class office space and luxury condos and apartments.
