Capitol Bag, Vaccaro’s Italian Pastry and Sakura
Open at Hunt Valley Towne Centre

Owings Mills, Md. (May 13, 2008) — Capitol Luggage and Leather, a provider of travel and professional bags, Vaccaro’s Italian Pastry, Inc., a family-owned and operated bakery, and Sakura, a Japanese steak and seafood restaurant, have opened at Hunt Valley Towne Centre, in Hunt Valley, Md.

Capitol Luggage and Leather sells a wide selection of high quality professional cases and luggage from Samsonite, Vera Bradley, Tumi, Jonathan Murphy and several others. The 1,500-square-foot Hunt Valley location is the second store for the Capital Bag company, which also runs the Virginia Bag store in Columbia, Md.

Vaccaro’s Italian Pastry is known for serving fine, Italian pastries and coffee drinks. The company’s 1,000-square-foot Hunt Valley location is the seventh store for owners Nick and Maria Vaccaro. The new store expands on a 52-year-old family tradition of bringing old-world recipes and Sicilian treats to Baltimore and its surrounding area.

Sakura offers a varied menu of Japanese steak, seafood and sushi dishes. The new, 7,030-square-foot Hunt Valley location is the eighteenth restaurant for the Maryland-and-Virginia-based chain.

Opened in 2005, Hunt Valley Town Center is a 980,000-square-foot shopping destination and lifestyle center, owned and developed by Greenberg Gibbons. Capital Luggage and Leather, Vaccaro’s Italian Pastry and Sakura join existing tenants Wegman’s Food Market, Greetings & Readings and several others in an open air “main street” environment.

“We are very pleased to welcome Vaccaro’s, a fixture in communities throughout Baltimore, Capital Luggage and Leather, which is known for its expansive collection of top-quality bags, and the popular Japanese restaurant Sakura to Hunt Valley Towne Center,” said Brian Gibbons, president and chief executive officer of Greenberg Gibbons. “All three retailers are an ideal fit for this town center, and add to the great mix of fine retailers we offer the community.”
